Centenary Party

After the many events attended by different members of the WI this year to mark the Centenary,  members were really looking forward to the 1920's themed August meeting organised by our hardworking committee.

Let's get the Party Started!!

Sue Dixon welcomed visitors from local WI groups plus friends of our members before a rousing rendition of Jerusalem was sung.  Brenda Allott and Pam Barraclough (absent through illness) were sent wishes for their recovery.  Music from the 1920's accompanied a most wonderful buffet with Pimms, and a table quiz on the 1920's was enjoyed as was a quiz on 100 years of the WI.
